About

CosmetiSM is an independent cosmetic safety consultancy. We were founded on a simple idea: a beautiful product and serious science are not in tension. A good launch needs both.

Our background is in molecular biology, and we are certified as a Cosmetic Safety Assessor under Article 10 of EU Regulation 1223/2009. We have completed the training on safety assessment of cosmetics in the EU, the intensive course in dermato-cosmetic sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. We work with indie brands, contract manufacturers and larger houses, and we deliver documentation that holds up when it matters most.
